At this event, which brought together customers, media, partners, and friends at the Vidal stand on the first day of the fair, Francisco J. Hernández Arnaldos, President of Vidal Candies, presented the book published by the company to celebrate its anniversary, “The Sweetest Story”. The book covers the company’s 60-yer history and includes its most important milestones, from its beginnings in 1963 in a small family business to the present day.
Today, Vidal’s facilities exceed 210,000 square meters, it has an average of 1,300 workers, and its daily production capacity exceeds 75 million units. The company has commercial subsidiaries across the different continents and is present in more than 90 countries around the globe.
Its firm commitment to internationalisation led Vidal to be the first Spanish company to take part in the ISM fair. The company attended the first edition as an observer, in 1971, and in the following year it had its own exhibition space. Since then, the company has been present at more than 50 editions.
For this reason, they wanted to take advantage of this unmissable annual event at ISM to present their new book in a ceremony featuring their President, accompanied by Francisco Hernández Vidal, CEO, and Joaquin Vigueras, General Manager, together with other executives and personnel from the marketing and international sales departments, as well as representatives from all the company’s international subsidiaries.
“We face 2023 with great enthusiasm. With new projects and initiatives to celebrate our 60th anniversary. During this year, we will carry out different actions that will highlight the company’s long history its accomplishments, and its great human team,” Vidal concludes.
