Cargill completes factory upgrade in Ghana

Cargill announced they have completed an upgrade of their factory in Tema/Ghana which will allow them to increase capacity by 20 %.
The upgrade, which cost Cargill USD 13 m and took 16 months, will predominantly be used to make cocoa powder, and pushes the production capacity of the plant to 90,000 t/a. The factory had already increased their production from 65,000 to 75,000 t/a through efficiency gains.
