Lovechock takes over Dutch company Raw Patisserie

The Haarlem-based company Raw Patisserie B.V., manufacturers of the Ridiculously Good raw chocolate brand, is taken out of insolvency by Lovechock B.V. Amsterdam, with immediate effect.
The new owners will fully embed the brand in their range, following a review of the business and its facilities.

Franziska Rosario, owner and Chief Happiness Director of Lovechock, commented the products will be a good fit in the company’s existing portfolio. “Both companies have a lot in common and stand for the same values; in particular the production of chocolate with purely natural ingredients and the passion for raw cocoa.”

In addition, the two companies share a similar philosophy towards sustainability and protecting the environment, using plastic-free packaging and purchasing cocoa beans from local cooperatives. Lovechock was founded in 2009 by Laura de Nooijer after she visited Mexico and Brazil. Lovechock bars are sold in organic retail outlets, special shops and supermarkets across 15 countries in Europe as well as in the United Arabian Emirates, Canada and Japan.
