Ragolds Invest takes majority holdings in Jahnke Süsswaren GmbH

Ragolds Invest GmbH from Hamburg, Germany has taken majority holdings in the sweets manufacturer Rudi Jahnke Süsswaren e. K. headquartered in Kaltenkirchen, Germany which opened insolvency proceedings in August of 2015.
The future name of the company will be Jahnke Süsswaren GmbH. Owner Heinz Jahnke will remain as a partner and in an operative role. Four years ago Jahnke invested heavily in chewable candy production facilities described in company statements as “unique throughout the world”, resulting in a major expansion of the Jahnke production space. Jörg Viader, now Managing Partner for the new Jahnke Süsswaren GmbH, references the company’s incomparable know-how in bonbon production and its great flexibility, both of which will now benefit Ragolds Invest.

According to official statements from Ragolds Invest, this move represents the build-up of its own production capabilities in Germany, following on the heels of previous industrial activities in Canada, the Czech Republic and China. In combination with the supplementary customer structure in Germany, Ragolds Invest views the strengths of Jahnke Süsswaren as yet another step toward advancing sales and distribution in Germany and other regions.
