Confiserie Coppeneur et Compagnon: new shareholder
Johannes Zurnieden, owner of the Bonn-based Phoenix Reisen GmbH company, has acquired a minority stake of 33.7% in the German Confiserie Coppeneur et Compagnon GmbH, Bad Honnef, from Wawi AG.
Dr. Walter Müller, owner and chairman of Wawi, is going to stay with the company as a silent partner and advisory board member. Company founder Oliver Coppeneur, who with 66.3% doubles as the majority shareholder, will remain at the helm of the 1993-established premium manufacturer.
With a 100-strong workforce, an average daily output of 2.5 tonnes of finest confectionery is achieved. Production has recently been moved to the new building in which the corporate vision of a "factory of lust for life" is being realised.
