Nestlé: solid organic growth in the first nine months of 2015

Nestlé S. A., Vevey, achieved organic growth of 4.2% in the first nine months of 2015, composed of 2.0% real internal growth and 2.2% pricing.
According to the company, total sales of CHF 64.9 bn were impacted by foreign exchange (- 6.7%). Acquisitions, net of divestitures, added 0.4% to sales. Nestlé continued to grow in the three geographies with organic growth of 6.2% in the Americas (AMS), 4.0% in Europe, Middle East and North Africa (EMENA) and 1.1% in Asia, Oceania and sub-Saharan Africa (AOA).

Nestlé sales in the confectionery segment were CHF 6.15 bn, compared to CHF 6.70 bn in the same period of 2014. Organic growth in this product group was 7.8% (+ 1.0% real internal growth).
