Symrise achieves strong sales growth and high profitability

In the first half of the year, the Group increased sales by 41% to € 1.331 bn (H1 2014: € 941.8 m) and operated highly profitable with an EBITDA margin of 22.6%. All regions and both segments contributed to this positive development. The fully integrated activities of Diana contributed sales of € 268.0 m. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) were up by 44% to € 300.3 m (H1 2014 normalized: € 209.0 m).
