Baronie group acquires activities Ashbury

According to lacal press, 236 jobs have been saved in this way. Ashbury Chocolates is a private label manufacturer of high quality chocolate and toffee confectionery in the UK and export markets.

The acquisition provides Baronie with a solid platform to further expand its customer and product portfolios in the UK. It further strengthens the position of Baronie as a premier European supplier of branded, private label and third party chocolate products with production sites across Europe and more particularly in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland. The transaction does not impact the status of the Baronie Group companies as a 100% privately held independent operator.
