Walker`s Nonsuch gains BRC certification Grade A

Family toffee makers, Walker’s Nonsuch are delighted to have gained a Grade A in their latest British Retail Consortium audit. This certification is invaluable to the company, as it helps when presenting their products to buyers not only in UK but for export customers too, as it is a globally recognised certification. The family company has been making toffee for over 100 years just good ingredients like whole milk and butter. Their aim is to make really good quality toffee that is good value for money. Packaging is also a key priority as this creates the initial impulse purchase.

Edward Walker, Production Director and a fourth generation family member comments, “We are really pleased to be awarded a Grade A. We work very hard to achieve this standard on a day to day basis. Sometimes it can be challenging especially working from an older factory. However, schedules have improved enormously throughout the factory since working with BRC. I am grateful to the whole team for their hard work and support on this on going project.”
