Pauly Biskuit AG based in Dessau-Rosslau was sold to a Swiss financial holding company according to company statements. “With our new partner, we have set the course for securing the future of our company in the Dessau region,” Constanze Sika, chairwoman of Pauly Biskuit AG, is quoted by the local press. According to the company‘s own figures, Pauly Biskuit has a staff of approximately 200 employees and produces approximately 28,000 tonnes of cookies and milk chocolate products annually. Established in 1894, the company moved its headquarters from Hessen to Saxony-Anhalt as of 1990. Since 2005, the central administration as well as significant parts of the production have been concentrated in Dessau.
