KahlWax: Two positions refilled

As of September 1, there are two new faces at the KahlWax natural wax company of Trittau, Germany: Elisabeth Mahler-Jordan has assumed leadership of quality management, and Dr. Uwe Zimmermann is the new technical marketing manager for Research & Development. KahlWax refilled two vacant positions at the company in early September. Elisabeth Mahler-Jordan is now the quality manager at KahlWax, where she will be responsible for quality assurance, Regulatory Affairs, certifications, performing internal and external audits, and replying to client and supplier questionnaires. Along with a degree in nutritional science and food chemistry, Ms. Mahler-Jordan also comes to KahlWax with a wide variety of experience from her previous positions at scientific institutes, universities, pharmaceutical companies (product development, IFS/BRC Certification, Organic Certification) and official institutions (food quality control).

As technical marketing manager, Dr. Uwe Zimmermann now heads up technical support for clients, making him the KahlWax contact person for all questions in R&D, where his duties include providing support for new formulation development. His career in industry began after he earned his degree in chemistry and went to work as a technical developer for a leading international manufacturer of cosmetic products. He then went on to positions as a development manager and product developer for various brand manufacturers, working not only in areas such as paper products, shoe and automobile care products and detergents, but also—in his previous position as a product developer—in the fields of cosmetics and skin and hair care products.
