Südzucker raises outlook for financial year 2011/12

Südzucker AG Mannheim raises the outlook for current financial year 2011/12 due to a better than expected business performance in the months September and October 2011. Südzucker now projects an increase of group revenues to around EUR 6.8 (previous year: 6.2) billion and an increase of group operating profit to around EUR 750 (previous year: 519) million. The increase of projections is being driven predominantly by the sugar segment, which currently benefits within the European sugar market from volatile world market prices.
