Just Born Moving to Bethlehem

Just Born Inc., the maker of PEEPS, Hot Tamales and Mike and Ike candies, purchased a 600,750-square-foot industrial building in Bethlehem, PA, from Cardinal Capital Partners. he facility at 4000 Township Line Road was built in 1995, within the Leigh Valley Industrial Park. It sits on about 42 acres and features 57 loading docks, a clear height of 32 feet and heavy power with over 3000 amps. Just Born Inc. plans to relocate its finished goods distribution center to the location in late 2009, and is in the process of upgrading the building to a food-grade FDA certified facility. The candy maker also plans to pursue LEED certification upon completion of the renovations.
