Gregg A. Tanner is leaving The Hershey Co.

Gregg A. Tanner (50), senior vice president of global operations at The Hershey Co., is leaving at the end of the month, less than 18 months after joining the candymaker. Tanner is the third high-level Hershey executive whose departure has been announced or confirmed in the past two months. Earlier this month, Richard H. Lenny, Hershey s CEO since March 2001 and also chairman and president, announced he will retire at the end of the year.
In August, Christopher J. Baldwin, senior vice president and president of Hershey s North American Commercial Group, left the company to rejoin his former employer as president of Kraft Foods Inc. s U.S. snacks and cereals operations.
