Koelnmesse pursues internationalisation
Alongside Sweets China - Powered by ISM, taking place September 5th - 7th 2007 in the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), Koelnmesse is cooperating with other groups to develop and organise more new international confectionery shows, thereby further strengthening their position as expert organisers of international trade shows in the food and food technology sector.
2007 will see the première of two satellites of successful Cologne trade shows. The first International Sweet and Snack Tec China will run parallel to Sweets China - Powered by ISM from September 5th - 7th 2007. Alternating with International Food Tec China, the International Sweet and Snack Tec China will take place every two years at the same time as the annual shows Sweets China and World of Food China.
Sweets Middle East will also debut this year, taking place November 18th - 20th 2007 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. This show is also based on the ISM Cologne and supported by the AISM – the group of ISM conceptual sponsors. On display in Dubai will be a wide spectrum of products, ranging from confectionery, snacks and ice cream to raw pastes.
Sweets Middle East is organised by Koelnmesse in cooperation with the Dubai World Trade Centre. The aim of the show is to help export-orientated companies to access exciting new markets in Asia and the Middle East, and to provide expert support throughout the entire process, according to Koelnmesse.
