Sucralliance acquires butter caramel manufacturers Dupont d Isigny

Sucralliance, the sugar confectionery business unit of the French group Cemoi, has repurchased Dupont d Isigny. Based to Carentan, the company is famous for its caramels, produced with Norman butter. Dupont d Isigny realizes, with 63 employees, a sales of € 16 m, the production volume in 2006 was 7,500 tons. Based in Chambéry, Sucralliance realizes annual sales of € 60 m and has access to four factories totaling some 350 employees in France.
