Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. elects new officer Susan Henderson

At their regularly scheduled meeting, the Board of Directors of the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. declared a regular dividend of $0.256 on each share of Common Stock and each share of Class B Common Stock for the three-month period beginning November 1, 2006. In other action, the Board also elected Susan Henderson, Vice President - Corporate Communications, as an officer of the Company. Henderson reports to Dushan Petrovich, Senior Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer.


Henderson joined Wrigley in January, 2005, and directs the Company s global public affairs, communications, investor and community relations initiatives. Before coming to Wrigley, Henderson was president of her own communications consulting firm, where her clients included Diageo and Gillette. Prior to that, she held senior communications leadership roles at Kohl s Department Stores and the Miller Brewing Company. "Susan is a proactive leader and a seasoned communications professional who is heading up our efforts to further develop and strengthen the Company s global corporate communications capabilities and team," said Petrovich. "She is a valued member of our management team, and I am confident she will continue to use her strong leadership and professional skills to support our growth and shareholder value objectives."
