EU court rejects Storck s appeal for trademark

German confectioner August Storck s final appeal to trademark its Werther s Original toffee candy s wrapper and shape was rejected by EU s highest court. The candy s packaging and shape are not distinctive enough to warrant a trademark, according to the court.
