Griesson-de Beukelaer to invest in Kahla facility

By 2008 biscuit manufacturers Griesson - de Beukelaer GmbH & Co KG, Polch, plan to have significantly expanded production capacity at their Kahla facility in Thuringia. The 422 strong workforce will be increased; 70 new jobs will be created. A sum of € 20 m is expected to be invested. Production volume will rise from 32,900 tonnes (2004) to 40,000 tonnes. Following growth of 11% in 2004 GdB anticipates growth of 4% this year.
