Cadbury Wedel to take over parts of Leaf Poland

Cadbury Wedel Sp z.o.o. is to take over parts of Leaf Poland Sp z.o.o. The transaction, if approved by regulators, will be completed by January 1st 2006.
Included in the sale are strong brands such as HOPS! sweets, AHA sesame confectionery and Chalwa Krolewska (King s Halva). Brands, production equipment and recipes are be acquired by Cadbury Wedel, who will also take over 120 employees. Leaf Poland has been active in Poland since 1991.
