Wild Flavors Expands Production

WILD has expanded its production and storage capacity in Berlin, Germany, with a new building of 6,000 square meters. It increases the company grounds of WILD Flavors Berlin by about 30 percent. With this investment, the company allows for continued strong growth in the fields of flavors, extracts and colors.
The new building contains production machinery, central storage and storage for hazardous material as well as a cleaning station for tanks containing hazardous material. In addition, a technical workshop area is also included. A new aseptic filling machine and a high performance canister filling machine for flavors and essences are already in operation. The additional capacity provided by the new building allows the company to optimize the production processes in the existing buildings. WILD Flavors Berlin plans to finalize a complete integration of SAP for the flow of materials, storage and supply chain management by the middle of 2006.
