Ferrero posts group revenue up 5.3 per cent

According to an abstract from the Italian newspaper "La Stampa", Ferrero International posted a 5.3%rise in sales in its 2003/04 financial year, ended August 31, to €4.7bn. The group said that it also invested €78m in production and research. The group s domestic Italian division, Ferrero Italia, posted an 8.4% rise in revenue to €1.865bn, while net profit was up 5.1% at €95.1m. Cash flow amounted to €167.8m.
