35th ISM to set a new record: Over 1,600 suppliers from approximately 70 countries
For the first time, ISM to occupy gross exhibition space of 110,000 m². The International Sweets and Biscuits Fair (ISM) is about to set a new record. For the first time in its history, the leading trade fair of the international confectionery industry will top the mark of 1,600 exhibiting companies. This outstanding achievement is reflected in the hall occupancy figures: The 35th ISM, which will be taking place from January 30 to February 2, 2005, will be occupying a gross exhibition area of 110,000 m² (2004: 82,000 m2). "That s a good omen for ISM 2005," commented Wolfgang Kranz, Executive Vice President of Koelnmesse GmbH. "The relocation of ISM from the Rhineside Halls to the Eastern Halls area of Koelnmesse has clearly shifted the event into high gear."
"Individual exhibitors and group organizers alike have taken advantage of the opportunity to expand their stands, and many new suppliers will
be exhibiting at ISM 2005," Kranz added.
