Nestlé Bulgaria open new distribution centre

Nestlé subsidiary Nestlé Bulgaria has invested € 2.6 m in 6,000 m2 distribution centre – the biggest in south east Europe,according to press reports. In 1994 Nestlé entered the Bulgarian market;the concern bought a chocolate factory in the capital Sofia. Today over 1,000 people work for Nestlé in Bulgaria,and sales last year were up 27 % on 2002, to total €44m.Nestlé invested € 4.6 m during 2003 in production facilities and equipment.
